by I propose a change of clan name for a variety of reasons;
- In my opinion Invaders Must Die sounds clichéish. I know it was chosen out of liking The Prodgidy, but to anyone unaware of the group i would think it'd appear quite nubish. It's not a big deal, but it's just one some small reasons.
- When making banners or logos for IMD, it's hard to get it looking right as it's either too short (just three letters) or too large (spelling it all out). Again not much of an issue, but for ease of photoshopping, i'd appreciate a shorter, one word name.
- Finally, i think it sounds more like a motto than an actual title.
Now, shaun has said he wouldn't mind but it's up to nini, nini has said he wouldnt mind but it's up to everyone else, and smudge has said ya!1!
Basically, i'd just like some feedback on this, i mean, i'm the one whos gonna go re-create the sprays, banners, FPSbanana page etc. i have no problem with that, i just wanna know if you guys are okay with it an such. Of course i'll leave it be if the vote is against me, but i will cry.
The proposed new name is Invidians, which means Invaders in Spanish or something. As you can see i've at least kept to the same theme of things. We can now say "We are invidians" aswell... which is cool i guess? We can't say "we are invaders must dier's" right?..
I've created two versions of the banner for the new name; the first with the reference to PS, "Born from PS". Essentially it has been born from PS, as nini, ekim, hodgy and myself (is there more?) came from there to begin with.
the second is a latin motto, which i think is kinda cool. "Aut disce aut discede" - which means 'either learn or leave'. I think it's fitting and gives a professional look to the clan.. or summin.
